His mate-

Tamara’s spicy scent thrills, seduces and weakens him like no other.  She is his and he wants her.  Unfortunately, she is done with men.  Tamara’s been burned too many times in the past and she’s not looking for a relationship…..ever.  But when she finds a stray dog on her doorstep she decides she wants a relationship with a male, after all- that of pet and pet owner.

Needs convincing-

Josh is not a dog and he has no interest in staying her pet.  He has one burning desire- Tamara- in his bed, nightly and permanently.  He will stop at nothing to convince Tamara they are better together and that he needs her, forever.

Their paths are intertwined and their future is inevitable but will Tamara allow Josh to love, cherish and protect her?  Or will she say good-bye to the amazing, dedicated man whose loyalty and sweet promises could shatter her walls completely and consume her with desire?

God, he was good.

Their bodies stuck together, as if separation was unthinkable. She shivered while she ran her fingers down his muscled arms. He was strong, powerful yet he wouldn’t harm her. That was an undeniable fact—a simple truth as breathing air if there was any left in the room, that is. Had their combined body heat chased out all the available oxygen?

Never mind. She’d survive or perish with a smile. She re-focused her senses on the beautiful man above her.

“Tamara, my sweet little minx, you’re not fooling me at all,” he whispered into her ear. His hands further explored the canvas of her body. Blunt teeth nibbled a long line down the side of her sensitive neck in between warm breaths.

“You’re trying to be coy, playing sweet and innocent with me but you forget—I know you, Tamara. You’re not innocent, but you are delicious and sweet.” He growled. “I’m going to enjoy devouring every one of your tasty treats.” A shiver of delight tumbled through her, kindling and arousing her interest.

“Soulmate,” he whispered against her neck. He marked her with a burning kiss. His beautiful eyes hid under heavy lids while his tongue planted wet, passionate caresses down her neck.

She mewed, gripping the bed sheet between her fingers, singing praises of his sexual prowess.

“You’re mine. Mine.” He roared. His strong arms whipped around her waist and drew her closer to him.

He was a predator but instead of fighting him as she probably should, she became his willing—very wanting—prey. Her body succumbed, arching, and calling to him like a siren, craving and anticipating his dominance.

I should be running from him, making a beeline out the door, but here I am helpless, watching him and liking it, waiting for him to take me in any way he wants. Damn it. I’m weak and I can’t help it. I want him.

How had she become involved with a wolf anyway? In the beginning, he’d been a stray dog on her doorstep that snuck into her home. She took him to the vet’s office one year ago and everything changed after that…

Welcome to my world….

I believe in Love and Romance.

My characters aren't perfect.  They're skewed, flawed, and emotional.  They've dealt with real life circumstances and have survived and now they're living their lives, thinking their lives are complete when fate hits them square in the chest with something they've never experienced- True Love.

Almost all of my female characters wear plus sizes.  These are real, genuine women with normal hurdles in their way:  insecurities, trust issues, lack of faith but these women are survivors and they are snarky, fiery, feisty wildcats who allure and captivate their sexy mates, forever.  The women aren't angels but their mates might be and their mates will do anything to keep them in their lives.

My male characters are alphas, strong men, tough enough to handle their women's wicked ways while gentle enough to reward and pleasure them, too.  Love is at the core of all my books and each couple is rewarded with a happy ending because that's how love should be..... Everlasting and True.

This is your invitation.  Step into my world and explore the unique stories I create.

****   I love writing but I also love hearing from my readers.  I have several books in the works for the future including two Angel series and four more wolf-shifter books.

Spencer Perry lost everything the day her boyfriend died. Even when he came back as a ghost, she was never able to return to her old self. Determined to find a way to bring both of them back--him from the dead and her from her depression--Spencer hops a ride with a Reaper across the river to the Underworld where she meets the god of the dead. Hadrian isn't what she expected Hades to be like, but when he agrees to a deal that can get her Micah back, she puts all caution aside and accepts. Too bad she didn't realize that she'd also just accepted a lot more than one gorgeous yet frustrating god.

Bad things are happening all around her, and now she not only has to worry about keeping Micah's ghost status a secret from their friends, but also figure out who's behind all of the accidents. All signs point towards Hadrian, but something about that just doesn't feel right to her. Something that she hopes has nothing to do with her growing attraction towards him.

“You love him that much?”

“I do.”

“And is there nothing else for you then?” he asked softly. There was something in his tone that she couldn’t place. “Nothing else for you to live for?”

For a brief second she thought of her parents, and of Quinn and Sydney. They would mourn for her for a little while, sure, but they’d get over it. Just like they’d all but gotten over Micah’s death already.

“No.” The second she spoke she knew things were different. Knew that something had changed between his comment and hers.

Hadrian shifted to lean forward in his throne, catching her eyes with his own and holding her there. A charming smile touched his dark pink lips. “Ok, Spencer Perry. A deal then. Seeing as how you seem so smitten with the Persephone story, I’ll make you a wager you simply can’t refuse.”

Think of Micah, she reminded herself. Anything is worth it for Micah.

“Six months.”

She blinked, having half expected him to ask for her immortal soul or something along those lines. “Excuse me?”

“Was that not plain enough for you?” In his eyes she saw he was silently laughing at her. “You’ll remain here with me in the Underworld for six months out of one year. What’s today? The third? Perfect. So until September fourth of next year, you give me six months of your life.”

“And if I do?” she hardly recognized the sound of her own voice it was so low and meek.

“I bring your boyfriend back. Good as new. Walking, talking, the whole nine yards.”

Tempest has been interested in pursuing writing since the fourth grade when she realized someone had to have written all of those books that her teacher read during story time. She writes stories that she hopes will help people escape the sometimes craziness of life, if just for a couple hours.

Interesting story that combines several myths but mostly focuses on the Persephonie myth.  I love the weaving of modern day information with the fantasy elements.  It was very well written and drew me in quickly.  I stayed up late reading the story because I wanted to see what happened next.

I cannot wait to read more about Spencer, Hadrian and Micah.  I also want to see if things work out for Quinn and Charlie.  I loved the little twists that the author brings to mythology.

I give this story 4.5 out of 5 clouds.
